Theoretical error analysis on geolocation unknown emitters using TDOA of three geostationary satellites

抄録

In satellite communication, there is a severe problem of interference from unknown emitters to the geostationary satellites. This problem is called uplink interference. We consider the problem of geolocation method based on time difference of arrival (TDOA) between 3 adjacent geostationary satellites. In this paper, we derive theoretical error equation, and then clarify the relationship between the location of the target and the geolocation accuracy.
