The universality of n-input n-output conservative logic element with restrictued number of C//0 and C//1 elements is discussed. The basic properties of conservative logic elements are described. A method of synthesizing an arbitrary logic circuit with a 3-input 3-output conservative logic element called ″p-element,″ two C//0's and one C//1, utilizing decomposition theory of group functions, is discussed. Several sufficient conditions are presented for n-input n-output conservative logic elements to be universal. Finally, the relation between conservative logic elements and magnetic bubble logic models is discussed.
