Abstract

To save water and promote vegetable growth, we conducted experiments at the Fukang Desert Ecosystem Observation and Experiment Station of Xinjiang Chinese Academy of Sciences in summer 1995. Effects of newly developed practices, furrow bottom seeding (FBS), folia water spraying and row cover, were ocnfirmed.
